Dinner in Franklin
So, we’ve been in Franklin TN for a month tomorrow! WOW… time flies. I remember being so anxious to move here about a month and a half ago that I could barely concentrate. But now that we are here, life is settling into “normal”. Well, as normal as you can get when you’ve just moved across country away from friends and family. But, it’s all good.
The other night we went to this great restaurant, Saffire. The atmosphere was so cool - the place has a really great vibe. Low light, colors lights. The table we sat at was drenched in red light. It was really romantic. And the food…oh the food. What can I say, it was the best I’ve had in a long time.
As Jason gets busier with music I see less of him these days. But I am so excited about the opportunities that he has. He has spent many late nights working on recordings and rehearsing with his band. They are really good, and have so much potential. I have to learn how to share Jason though! It’s been just the two of us for so long. In Eugene we had almost every evening together, but now he has a lot more going on, a lot more friends (which is GREAT!), and a lot less time to just hang out. I am so happy for him though, he was really feeling so uninspired back in Eugene.
We will always be the very best of friends, but this is really a new season for us both. There are a lot of changes in the air. And we are learning (well, mostly me I think!) how to balance those changes and eachother and keep close through all of it.
Anyway, if you are passing through Franklin TN anytime soon, you MUST take a visit to Saffire Restaurant in The Factory. It’s really a great place for a romantic evening, or a very chill evening with friends. Cheers!

Lots of changes!! Hey, you’re in my prayers with the hubby challenges. I know how it feels to want them to be excited, inspired and busy with life (in a good way) but have to let go a bit too . . . it really is a trusting in a good God . . . and, inspired or not, things will settle down a bit. Just be encouraged!! And keep J in prayer too.
